BC Legislature Explorer
Members, bills, votes and debates of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
For site owners
The XataWorks Assistant opens as a chat panel on your pages and works through the tools your site already offers. Ask it a question and it plans the steps: it calls your tools, filters and combines what comes back, runs the calculations, and answers with a summary or a table.
Two of our own sites carry it, over parliamentary databases. Open one, press the Assistant button in the corner and ask a question that takes several lookups to answer.
Members, bills, votes and debates of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
Members, bills, votes and debates of the House of Commons.
The panel loads from XataWorks; your page adds one line. The two are kept apart: your page can’t see the chat or the visitor’s account, and the panel can’t see your page’s storage.
The Assistant works through the WebMCP tools your pages register, chaining them to answer questions no single page can. It keeps to your site’s rules and asks before anything consequential.
Visitors sign in with their XataWorks account and chat on their own XataWorks AI. There is nothing for them to install.
Most sites need more than a script tag to get an assistant that is genuinely useful. We work with you on the parts that make the difference.
We help you decide what the Assistant should be able to do, and expose your data and actions as tools it can use safely.
Run it as a branded assistant for your organisation, built on the technology behind XataWorks.
Decide who can use it and how: your visitors with their own XataWorks AI, or your organisation’s people under your plan.
